Lützelau Weggis
Hotel and restaurant
Built in 1905, the Hotel Lützelau in Weggis was initially a popular spa and vacation hotel. In 1974, a large part of the building fell victim to a fire, but was rebuilt and reopened by 1976. It later served as an international hotel management school for many years. A replacement building is now planned, and renowned architects from Lucerne, Bern and Uster have been working on the plans for the Hotel Lützelau for seven years. The winning project was presented to the public on Saturday, May 25, 2019.
